Hi, I’m Kimberly β mom of two wild and wonderful boys, wife to my biggest supporter, and the heart behind Zambrano Quality Studio.
Oh, and yes β we have a real pet monkey. Her name is Allison, she’s a pygmy marmoset (also called a finger monkey), she just turned 10, and she is exactly as spunky and chaotic as she sounds. Welcome to my life. π
Now that you know the most important part β let me tell you the rest.
I started this blog and this brand because motherhood is a LOT. And I mean that in the most loving, exhausted, grateful, slightly unhinged way possible.
Between teaching the baby to sit up while helping the toddler count, cooking every meal, keeping the house running, raising our boys in faith, being a present wife, keeping up with family, and yes β caring for a finger monkey β there is not much left over at the end of the day. If you’re nodding right now, you’re exactly who I made this for.
But here’s the story behind why Zambrano Quality Studio exists.
In 2025 my world got turned upside down.
My mom was rushed to the hospital with a massive brain tumor. We almost lost her. At the exact same time, my grandma was traveling back and forth to Houston for cancer treatments. A week after my mom’s big surgery β my grandma had an eight hour surgery of her own.
They were in hospitals nine hours apart from each other.
I was bouncing between both of them β newborn in my arms, toddler by my side β trying to be present for everyone while also holding myself together. My husband and my best friend showed up for me in ways I will never forget. But it was one of the hardest seasons of my life.

And in the middle of all of it, I had a realization that stopped me in my tracks.
There was so much I still didn’t know about them.
What was my mom’s childhood really like? What were her dreams before she became my mom? What has my grandma seen in her lifetime that she’s never fully told us? What stories would be lost forever if I didn’t ask now?
I wasn’t ready to find out the hard way.
So I did what overwhelmed moms do when they need to feel like they’re doing something β I created something.
I designed the Get to Know Grandma journal and the Get to Know Mom journal β guided journals that walk the most important women in your life through their entire story, one gentle prompt at a time. No blank pages to stare at. No pressure to be perfect. Just their words, captured forever.
Then I thought about what happened after their surgeries.
My mom and grandma both love to color. They love spending time with my kids more than anything. But after their surgeries, they had to rest β they couldn’t get on the floor and play like they normally would. What they could do was sit quietly and color. So I created the Coloring Together Mom and Me Side-by-Side Coloring Book β so they could still connect with my kids during recovery, stay positive, and have something that brought them joy even on the hard days.
I truly believe it helped them heal.
And my grandpa β he has always been one of my heroes. I love him so much that I named my youngest son after him. He just had heart surgery this week and is in recovery β and this man, this story, this life he has lived β deserves to be written down. That’s why I created Grandpa’s Legacy.
These journals exist because I almost learned too late that the stories we love most can disappear without warning.
They exist because connection β real, intentional, unhurried connection β is what gets families through the hardest seasons.
And they exist because I’m a mom who was overwhelmed, scared, and running on no sleep β and I wanted to create something that made the people I love feel seen and remembered.
So what is Zambrano Quality Studio?
It’s a small collection of journals and activity books designed to help families slow down, connect deeply, and capture the stories that matter most β before time slips away.
My mission is simple: helping overwhelmed moms show up as their best selves for their kids and their families β without missing the joy that’s hiding right in the middle of the chaos.
I also have a deep heart for faith β raising my boys to know Jesus is one of the most important things I do. And I’m working on creating resources to help moms do that with their very youngest children too β because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find the right tools for that.
If you’re here because you’re overwhelmed and you just need someone who gets it β you’re in the right place.
If you’re here because you want to give someone you love a gift that actually means something β you’re in the right place.
And if you found your way here because of a finger monkey β well. Welcome. Allison says hi. ππ
