Soft Launch: Something New I’ve Been Working On for Moms Like Us

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I love sharing the real moments of motherhood — the messy ones, the hilarious ones, the overwhelming ones, and the ones that somehow make your heart melt and break at the same time.

Like the day my toddler had a meltdown in the driveway because I dared to push the stroller toward the mailbox without him “helping.” Or the time I tried to teach him the letter “H,” and a perfectly planned activity turned into cotton balls flying all over the living room. Or the baby blowout incident where I had to remind myself to “smell the flowers, blow out the fire” just to stay calm.

Motherhood is full of those moments — and somewhere in between the tantrums, the sticky hands, the bubble emergencies in the car (always keep bubbles, mamas!), the sleepless nights, and the quiet moments of connection… I realized I wanted to create things that made this whole journey a little easier and a lot more meaningful.

So today, I’m quietly and gently announcing something I’ve been working on for months, in stolen pockets of time between naps, dishes, and “Mama, watch this!” moments…

✨ I’m soft-launching my first 3 KDP products made just for moms and their little ones.

Nothing flashy.
Nothing stressful.
Just something that feels like home for the women who read this blog.

Let me tell you about them.

💛 1. The Mom’s Life Reflections Journal

This one came straight from my heart.

There are so many days when motherhood feels like a blur — full of emotions, memories, and moments that deserve to be written down but often get lost behind everything else demanding our attention.

I made this journal for moms who want a place to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
A place to write down:

  • the things we’re proud of
  • the things we’re learning
  • the funny toddler moments
  • the stories we want to remember
  • and the truths we sometimes need to tell ourselves

It’s gentle.
It’s simple.
And it’s something I wish I’d had from the very beginning.

🎨 2. The Coloring Together: A Mom & Me Side-by-Side Coloring Book

This coloring book was inspired by watching my mom and nana interact with my kids while they were recovering from surgery and going through treatments. Spending time with their grandkids seemed to bring them so much joy and comfort, but I noticed that planning activities or doing anything too complicated could sometimes be tiring or stressful for them.

I wanted to create something that would let them connect and bond with my kids in a simple, relaxing way, without any pressure — a way to enjoy the moment, laugh together, and make memories, all while promoting calm and even a little healing.

The result is a side-by-side coloring book: one page for mom or nana, one page for the child, designed so both can color at the same time without worrying about mess or mistakes. It’s gentle, fun, and stress-free — a small, meaningful way to nurture connection, creativity, and peace.

💬 3. The Get to Know Mom Journal

This is the journal I’ll be giving to my own mom this Christmas, because I want to grow closer to her and capture the stories, memories, and life lessons that matter most.

The idea for this journal came from those same hospital experiences. While waiting during my mom’s surgery, and then my nana’s, I started asking meaningful questions to the other family members in the waiting room — sharing stories, learning about their lives, growing closer in ways I hadn’t before. I kept praying for the chance to ask those same questions to my mom and nana before it was too late.

This journal is designed to help kids capture the stories, values, and memories of their mom — the real person behind all the daily chaos — in a simple, meaningful, and fun way. It’s filled with prompts, quick questions, and memory pages that make it easy to connect, reflect, and preserve the things that truly matter.

Why I’m Soft Launching First

Because I’m a mom too — and I know December is already chaotic.

I don’t want a high-pressure, loud launch.
I don’t want to add noise to your already full days.

A soft launch lets me quietly say:

“Hey mama… I made these for you.
Whenever you’re ready, they’re here.”

Whether you use them now or tuck them away for later, I hope they bring more joy, peace, and connection to your life.

And if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, stretched thin, or like you’re constantly trying to remember everything all at once…
You are not alone.
You’re doing an amazing job.
And these tools were made to support you — not add stress.
